A dream of flight and light, Dreamscape is a 20 minute ‘visual-music’ work inspired by ‘dreamtime’ concepts of Aboriginal Australians, and is an homage to Native American sandpainting of the Southwest United States where traditionally its role has been to help put human beings into greater harmony with nature and the universe. It also evokes dreamstates by employing several contemporary neuroscientific and physiological phenomena, including Rapid Eye Movement (REM).
