Mood of Singapore

Fear

Sad and Surprise

Mood of Singapore (2016) is an interactive “painting” that makes use of Big Data and Twitter in the Singapore context, and like Mood of New York and Mood of the Planet rethinks what “public” art constitutes today. It employs LED panels, custom software/electronics; wireless and social networks, and fabric. Concept, animation, PD code and real-time computer music by Vibeke Sorensen.  Thanks to NTU Museum, Asst Prof Galina Mihaleva and Mr. Nagaraju Thummanapalli of Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Installed and exhibited in the Experimental Medicine Building at Nanyang Technological University Singapore since 2016.
