Videocean is a 30 minute compilation of visual music shorts produced during the years 1974-76. Sorensen conceived it as a flow of water-like electrons in a sea of waves-forms in a constantly changing relationship of mind, space and time. It was produced at the WNET TV Lab using the Rutt/Etra raster scan synthesizer and Grass Valley switcher, and at the Electronic Music Studio at the State University of New York at Albany. Music composition and animation by Vibeke Sorensen. Thanks to the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, New York for digitization of the original videotape. (Please note that there are some visual anomalies due to the age of the videotape. Conversion to digital of the 30 minute tape was done in 2023.)
